WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO THE RANCH AND ARE THERE TRANSFERS AVAILABLE?

Most guests drive to Echo Valley as part of a comprehensive itinerary. Accessing the ranch via 33 km of gravel road (Jesmond Road) is not an issue for rental cars, as it is the only access to the ranch. We also offer transfers from Kamloops (2.5 hours). The cost of the transfer is $480 plus 5% tax and it is non-commissionable; the rate is per carload, up to four guests, and is a round-trip transfer. Another option is to book a charter flight, as the ranch has a paved airstrip. Charters are available through Glacier Air and offered from Vancouver or Squamish. Please inquire and book with Glacier Air directly for this option (glacierair.com).

IS ECHO VALLEY RANCH OPEN YEAR-ROUND?

Our main season (shoulder and summer) is from May to October; we offer a winter season as well, however, our Signature Experience is only available from May to October. You can find the details of our winter season here, please inquire with us for your commission level, as it differs from the shoulder and summer season.

DOES ECHO VALLEY RANCH HAVE ACCESSIBLE ROOMS?

The ranch is not wheelchair accessible; while our Lookout Lodge does have a ramp and one washroom that is accessible, the ranch grounds in general as well as our main lodge and restaurant are not accessible.

IS THERE CELL SERVICE AND WIFI AT THE RANCH?

There is no cell service in Echo Valley; Wifi is available across the ranch, however it is rural internet and not high speed.

WHAT ROOM CATEGORIES ARE THERE?

We offer both rooms and cabins, however, there is only one rate category. Accommodation is only a small part of what’s included in a stay in Echo Valley, and we always recommend the accommodation that’s the best fit for your client depending on their personal preferences. We have studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom cabins available, as well as lodge rooms with one or two beds, and family rooms with sleeping lofts that would be suitable for young teens.

DOES THE RANCH HAVE A KIDS PROGRAM?

Echo Valley Ranch is adult-oriented and welcomes guests of 10 years and older. We do not offer a kids program, teens can participate in all our ranch activities.

CAN THE RANCH KITCHEN ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS AND FOOD ALLERGIES?

Yes, we can! We accommodate all dietary restrictions and requests, and our kitchen staff will ensure your clients’ needs are met with the utmost care. However, due to the nature of an open ranch kitchen, and despite precautions, cross-contamination can occur. Please be sure to let us know if your clients have any dietary restrictions or food allergies.

DO ACTIVITIES HAVE TO BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE?

No, we book activities and spa daily and are very flexible with scheduling. If you wish to supply the guest questionnaire (downloadable) to your clients you can do so for their inspiration, but we don’t schedule anything until after arrival and work with each guest to make sure they have the best possible experience.
